The CSG Foundation is no longer accepting applications for funding.

The CSG Foundation, Inc. at the present time generally restricts its grants to projects in Washington, D.C.; Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, MD; Arlington and Fairfax Counties, VA; and the city of Alexandria, VA, involving (1) prenatal, neonatal and early childhood health care, especially in community-based settings, and (2) the treatment of emotional, mental, and developmental disorders in young children. The primary focus is on infants and children ages three years and under.

Applicants who meet these guidelines are invited to submit four copies of the following documents:

1. reasonably detailed proposal narrative of no more than two pages
2. budget for the grant amount
3. organizational budget for the year in which the grant is to be spent
4. most recent financial statement (audited or unaudited)
5. most recent 990
6. last quarter revenues and expenses
7. list of your current Board of Directors
8. certification of the applicant's tax exempt status -- 501(c)(3)
9. completed copy of the Foundation's Abortion Counseling Disclosure Statement (PDF).

If a grant is offered, a final Report must be submitted twelve months after the grant is received.

The Foundation does not ordinarily make grants for construction of facilities, nor are grants made to individuals. No consecutive year grants are made to organizations. The Board of Directors meets twice a year in March and September and deadlines for those meetings are January 15th and July 15th.
